In short
Percore runs on your device. Your practice history — every session, every score, your streak — is stored on your iPhone, and it stays there unless you create an account, at which point it is also copied to our database so it survives a new phone.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not build advertising profiles. We collect the minimum needed to run the app, to know whether people are using it, and to fix it when it breaks.
One thing worth stating plainly, because it is unusual: the app never sends us what you actually saw or heard in an exercise. The target colour, the target frequency, your answer — none of it leaves your device. Only the resulting score does, and only if you have an account.

We do not currently have a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), as one is not legally required for our operations.
What we collect
On your device only
Your practice history, streak, per-sense averages, milestones and settings are written to your iPhone’s local storage. If you use Percore without an account, this is the only place any of it exists — we cannot see it, and we cannot restore it if you delete the app.
If you create an account
- Your email address and an authentication record, held by our authentication provider.
- Your completed sessions: the sense, the mode, the round scores and the session score, with the time they were recorded.
- A short code derived from your account identifier. It is what a shared invitation link carries so a friend can be pointed at the same day’s practice as you.
- A display name, if you set one.
Product analytics
We record which screens are opened and which steps of a flow are completed, so we can tell whether the app is understandable. Events carry a fixed, published list of properties — app version, platform, language, subscription state, streak, and the scores themselves — and a guard drops anything not on that list before it is sent.
Deliberately excluded, by design rather than by policy: raw targets and answers, email addresses, invitation codes, authentication tokens, and any free text you type.
Diagnostics
When something crashes, we collect the error and the technical context around it — the screen you were on as a route pattern rather than a filled-in address, the app version, the device model. The same allowlist applies.
The website
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The two demos on it run entirely in your browser: nothing you do in them is recorded, and no colour, frequency or score from a demo is sent anywhere. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us for that purpose alone.
Why we collect it
- To run the app. An account and a session history are what make your progress survive a reinstall or a new phone.
- To keep it working. Crash reports are how a bug that only happens on one iOS version gets found at all.
- To understand whether it is any good. Whether people finish a session, whether they come back — questions we cannot answer by guessing.
- To handle payments. Subscriptions are processed by the App Store; we receive the resulting entitlement, not your card.
Legal basis for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers that make the app work, and only for that purpose. We use carefully selected third-party providers to operate Percore.

Where personal information is transferred outside your country or the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on appropriate legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Your practice history is not visible to other users. The one exception is deliberate and is described under sharing, below.
When you share a practice
If you send someone an invitation, the link carries a short code identifying you and nothing else — no score is contained in it. When the person you sent it to opens the invitation inside Percore, they can see your display name and your score for that one day. That is the point of sending it, and it is limited to the day you shared.
Percore has no leaderboard and no public profiles. Nobody who has not been given a link by you sees anything.
Selling personal information
Percore does not sell your personal information.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Artificial intelligence
Percore does not use your personal data or calibration history to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Any future AI-powered features will be covered by this Privacy Policy before they become available.
How long we keep it
Your account and its practice history are kept until you ask us to delete them. Deleting the app removes the on-device copy immediately; the account copy, if you have one, remains until you tell us.
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Typical retention periods include:
- Account information — until your account is deleted.
- Calibration history — until your account is deleted.
- Anonymous analytics events — up to 24 months.
- Crash reports and diagnostic information — up to 90 days.
- Customer support communications — up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Waitlist or marketing email addresses — until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Backups may persist for a limited period before being automatically overwritten.
Your choices
- Use it without an account. The whole daily practice works in guest mode. Nothing is sent to us at all.
- Turn off notificationsin the app’s settings, or in iOS.
- Reset your progress from Settings, which clears the on-device record.
- Get a copy, or have it deleted. Write to [email protected]. Deletion has its own page, describing exactly what goes.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing, to have inaccurate data corrected, and to complain to a supervisory authority.
Health information
Percore is designed for training and exploring perception.
It is not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent any medical condition.
Results are informational only and should not be considered medical advice.
Children
Percore is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age at which they can consent for themselves in their country. If you believe a child has given us data, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Changes to this page
When this page changes materially we will update the date at the top and, if the change affects how your data is used, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
